Woolworths NetSetGo Program 2024

MDNA Woolworths NetSetGO is an introductory Netball Program for girls and boys aged 5yrs (born 2019) and 6yrs (born 2018) ONLY. The program offers an opportunity for children to increase their social and motor skills in a friendly and fun environment. It creates a quality first experience of netball for each participant and builds pathways into local netball clubs to encourage continued involvement in the sport.
Venue: Metropolitan Districts Netball Association, Wembley Park, cnr Burke and Robinson Street, Coorparoo. 4151.

Players Turning 7 - 10yrs

Children turning 7 -10yrs in 2024 are unfortunately not eligible for this program. They are able to register with a club and participate in the MDNA Saturday Competition. No netball experience is necessary. This involves training one afternoon a week and a game each Saturday morning during the 14 week season.

REGISTRATION & FEES

The cost for the eight week program is $140 and includes a Woolworths NetSetGO participation pack.

Registrations are now open and close 16/5/24 or earlier if maximum number of participants is reached (70).

The 2024 Woolworths NetSetGO 8 week program runs for an hour on Saturdays, commencing at midday on the following dates:

PARTICIPATION PACK

Participants should expect to receive a welcome email and account activation invite within a couple of days of their registration.
If any eligible participants or parents at your centre are still waiting for their email invite, please ensure they have checked the junk folder of the email address they used to register, then contact us.
A participant registering to a Woolworths NetSetGO program for the first time will receive the option to redeem the First Time NetSetGO'er pack which consists of a size 4 netball and t-shirt which they can choose to personalise for $10 extra.
A registered participant who has previously registered in 2023, will have the option to redeem an Experienced NetSetGO'er pack which consists of a drawstring bag and a water bottle.

SESSION DETAILS

Participants to arrive by 11.45am (for a midday start) and assemble on grass court 9 each Saturday.
Children need to wear play clothes and sandshoes and a hat.
The Woolworths NetSetGo shirt received as part of the registration pack can be worn but is not mandatory.
Children need to bring a water bottle and apply sunscreen.

Participants will be placed into groups of approx. 10 and taken through a variety of netball based skills by 2 Team Leaders who are experienced volunteer coaches / netballers.
