Woolworths NetSetGo Program 2025

MDNA Woolworths NetSetGO is an introductory Netball Program for girls and boys aged 5yrs (born 2020) and 6yrs (born 2019) ONLY. The program offers an opportunity for children to increase their social and motor skills in a friendly and fun environment. It creates a quality first experience of netball for each participant and builds pathways into local netball clubs to encourage continued involvement in the sport.
Venue: Metropolitan Districts Netball Association, Wembley Park, cnr Burke and Robinson Street, Coorparoo. 4151.

Players Turning 7 - 10yrs

Children turning 7 -10yrs in 2025 are unfortunately not eligible for this program. They are able to register with a club and participate in the MDNA Saturday Competition. No netball experience is necessary. This involves training one afternoon a week and a game each Saturday morning during the 14 week season. 

Exception - Children turning 7yrs (born 2018) may be able to register if any spots remain unfilled the week prior to the start of the program. If you would like to place your child on the wait list please register via the below link.

DATES

The 2025 Woolworths NetSetGO 8 week program runs for an hour on Saturdays, commencing at midday on the following dates:

Week 27 JuneWeek 626 July
Week 314 JuneWeek 72 August
Week 421 JuneWeek 89 August **End of Program Celebration

PARTICIPATION PACK

Participants will receive a participation pack as part of their fees - shirt and keyring.

SESSION DETAILS

  • Participants to arrive by 11.45am, midday start, 1hr session.
  • Assemble on grass court # 9 each Saturday.
  • Wear play clothes and sandshoes/joggers and a hat. 
  • Bring a water bottle and apply sunscreen.

Participants will be placed into groups of approx. 10 and taken through a variety of netball based skills by 2 Team Leaders who are experienced volunteer coaches / netballers.

PARKING

Allow plenty of time for parking as onsite parking is very limited and you may need to park some distance away and walk.

Parking inspectors regularly visit streets surrounding Wembley Park, refer to Brisbane City Council Parking Regulations
