2026 Snr State Age & GBNL - 15yrs, 16yrs, 18yrs Information and registration

Senior State Age - 15yrs (born 2011), 16yrs (2010), 18yrs (2009, 2008)
2 teams will be selected in each age group, dependant upon player and coach nominations received.
SSA to be held at Townsville Netball Assoc, 11-14 April 2026.
nb. Athletes are responsible for arranging and costs associated with their own travel and accommodation.

GBNL - 16yrs (born 2011, 2010), 18yrs (born 2009, 2008)
2 teams will be selected in each age group, dependant upon player and coach nominations received.

Athletes may choose to trial for both SSA and GBNL or just SSA.
nb. For Athletes to be able to play GBNL they MUST play SSA.
Just one Selection Fee applies if trialling for both.

    Venue: Moreton Bay College, 6pm to 8pm

SELECTION ELIGIBILITY
• 2025 MDNA Rep athletes have automatic nomination eligibility.
• All other athletes must have played Division 1 or 2, 2025 Saturday club competition at MDNA, OR
• Athletes in other divisions of 2025 Saturday club competition at MDNA may be accepted to trial ONLY if nominated by their club Coaching Convener and such nomination is accepted by the MDNA Pathways Coordinator.
• Athletes new to MDNA may apply to nominate prior to the first trial date noting their playing history and all relevant details. This request can be sent to pathways@mdna.com.au for consideration. If approved the athlete may proceed to nominate.
• Athletes are NOT eligible to trial if they have been named or selected in a squad or team for the 2026 Rep year for any other association prior to or during the MDNA selection processes.
nb. Athletes must be able to commit to all trial dates except in extenuating circumstances such as illness or injury
for which a medical certificate may need be produced.

Please be advised that we are currently waiting on further details from Netball Queensland and GBNL before finalising our 2026 Representative Information Booklet and Eligibility Requirements.
MDNA Rep & GBNL athlete requirements may differ from previous years, depending on the final structure of the associated competitions. We will make this information available to all athletes and families as soon as confirmation is received.
Should a player nominate and then not meet the MDNA eligibility requirements, and therefore be unable to trial or be selected, a full refund of the nomination fee will be issued.
